Gotta love the Carolinas doing stuff like this on 0% tornado MRGL risk days. Got an isolated supercell with a hook and couplet (on TCLT) and a possible debris sig visible on RAX.

In other news, this hail core popped up southeast of Huntsville.

That went right over me last night. Didn’t notice much wind but hail was in the nickel to quarter size. Didn’t experience baseball or whatever was being confirmed elsewhere while being under the highest area of radar reflectivity.

A stronger tornado in Jasper county was responsible for at least
25 known injuries and 1 fatality. Preliminarily, this tornado
that impacted the Louin vicinity was found to have winds to at
least 150 mph, EF-3, and a track length of almost 8 miles.
Louin MS tornado rated EF3, 150 mph per PNS from NWS Jackson.

This commercial installer got himself caught in the Moss Point, MS tornado yesterday and was lucky to come out with only a broken driver's side window. Warning that the part of the video containing the moment the tornado hit his van contains a lot of bleeped swears.
