The Tuscaloosa cell has made its way into North Carolina with defined rotation on radar.....wow.

Amazing. It passed just 10 miles north of me about an hour ago.

Maybe the most incredible tornado footage ever.

That guy is lucky that he's not dead. Staying in your car that close to a tornado is a stupid move.

It is moving towards the Hendersonville, too.

Its possible it may make it to near GSO/Winston before the night is over even if it gets absorbed into the line.

It was cool to watch from the front porch. That Cartersville cell is riding the spine also just to my north.

Home from a storm chase, I caught a tornado briefly as it passed i65 near Smokerise in Blount co. Have plenty of pics from Cullman. It look liked a bomb hit it.

Yeah, you're right. I'll have to let my parents know.

My roommate's family is from Hendersonville, too, so that is a bit of a concern.

I wonder how much damage the NC mountains will do to it...if any

I didn't think it would survive the spine of the Apps in GA as it traveled a good 50+ miles across 3-4k foot peaks.

Conventional wisdom would say it would take quite a toll on the tornado, but that thing seems to be ripping through the Georgia mountains like they're nothing, so I don't know.

BTW, Dawson, someone needs to give you a met tag!

Hey, someone with a GR product let me know what the GTG is on the storm about to enter western Harris County, GA. Use either the MXX or FFC radars.
