When I woke up and felt the humidity and just how heavy the air was, I knew there was potential today. Just never expected this
It's trying to spin and is on a beeline to MemphisCell going out Arkansas heading towards Memphis needs watched
Cell going out Arkansas heading towards Memphis needs watched , it’s running into a rich environment too
Henager requesting all available personnel from Powell FD which is further west of Sylvania. Sounds like Highway 40 is blocked.
I still don't have a good read on how widespread the damage is. Looking at Google maps I see red traffic areas all along Highway 40 and, of course, at the 40/75 crossroad.
The second storm that's about to climb Sand Mountain is looking stronger again. Almost same track as the first storm, I hope the responders and people surveying their damage don't get caught off guard, or disregard new warnings.
Been saying it for hours. Memphis area has remained untapped. Anything that makes it into that area has a lot to work with.79.0°F/74.0°F in Memphis. That is a really high dewpoint.
And just about everyone is getting a piece of the action. Iowa, Oklahoma, the Midwest states and more.Haven't felt this drained since March 31 last year. Could barely keep up with the warnings.
