The portion of the QLCS near Tampa appears to be particularly spinny. A tornado warning north of Clearwater with the portion of the line coming onshore already

Imagining Reed Timmer out there chasing those in a Dominator boat that looks like the USS Monitor or something
He even said on social media that he'd need a boat to chase the supercells out over the Atlantic!

I think the best case scenario is that the main line pushes offshore and eats them before they get to land but I'm not sure if that'll happen. They're moving away from the best instability but they've still got 1000-1500 J/kg to work with in a really strongly-sheared environment (400+ m2/s2 ESRH) so yeah no reason they can't keep going for a while.

Yikes. Nasty hooks and couplets off the NC coast. Going to cause problems for the Morehead City area if they hold together.
