Early December Surprise Winter Storm

Seems Central Alabama is getting the brunt of the snow this morning. They upgraded parts of the area to a Winter Storm Warning. Here in Hanceville, it just started sleeting.
I'm a mile from the 291 exit in Hanceville. The sleet/rain/snow mix just changed over here to moderate snow. The temp is 28°F DP a dry 19° tho. It is sticking this time tho. Covered the trucks and deck in a few minutes is all. It's actually sticking to the gravel in the driveway too. I'll grab some pics after my coffee.

1/2" so far here in NW NC. All models are 6+ for MBY so a nice system for sure. Here's hoping for those double digits!

I can saw is WOW! Heavy snow here now with a temp of 26°F. I know those pine trees are less than an 1/8 of mile away across the field and I can't see them. I have never seen snow falling any harder in Alabama before.

Hey guys! I hate how TW is so slow now :( But, I wanted to say it's snowing here!! Pretty good mix of sleet and snow right NW of Atlanta. Changing to more and more snow as time goes on. Roofs and pinestraw areas already turning white :)

I’m at the 306 exit and we have nothing so far.

Some sleet here in Tucker/Norcross area, and even that is beginning to slow down. I'm jealous!

Almost all snow now and coming down pretty good here NW of Atlanta. I am surprised how quickly it is sticking. Already got a dusting on many things. If this continues, this storm will overperform IMO. Will be interesting to see if it goes back to rain later today.

I'm in the Shoals area and going to be too far north for this event but I'm pulling for every one south and east of me to get pounded! Congrats to all who are getting this early surprise snow!
