What a remarkable fall. Yesterday, it was believed she’d make a run at Cat. 5 this afternoon, instead she weakened greatly.
View the goes below, she is def going through some sort of strengthening and expanding.I wouldn't count her out just yet. I can't load any GOES-16 imagery due to sever overload but it sounds like those who can see it say she's getting her act together again and she's doing it fast. Wouldn't be surprised to wake up to a significantly more impressive hurricane.

Down a mb or two, but the subsequent winds have decreased as well. The core has been disrupted resulting in an expansion of winds/pressure gradient.Jim Cantore mentioned that Florence’s pressure is down slightly with the newest advisory.
