Meanwhile in Tennessee, the Leipers Fork cell is still spinning but its current path should at least take it south of Murfreesboro. Also, the mini-supercell that popped up near Woodbury has me concerned.

If these supercells that form congeal into a line, will that lower the number of tornadoes that race across KS/OK?

In theory yes but that’s not expected to happen in the high risk area until well after dark. The cells in Kansas should go more linear early on, but they’ve stayed fairly discrete so far.
