WINDS AND SEAS VARY GREATLY IN EACH QUADRANT. RADII IN NAUTICAL
MILES ARE THE LARGEST RADII EXPECTED ANYWHERE IN THAT QUADRANT.
That makes five tropical wave-spawned tropical cyclones before August; including four named storms, two hurricanes, and two in the MDR (if we count Isaias as a PTC there) Strictly going by climatology, that is almost universally associated with at least high end above average seasons, usually hyperactive.
