Violent tornadoes are specifically classified as EF4 or EF5. I believe that is correct. Sometimes I wonder if some people classify EF3 tornadoes as violent. I guess violent tornadoes could mean about anything to someone.Yikes. NWS Paducah dropping the v-word in this morning’s discussHATCHED.
Thinking is. If that mcs does not develop this morning , spc will upgrade the tornado threat and come more southward with it alsoWOW!!!! There using the v word. I wonder if the tornado Risk may get upgraded to 15% hatched.
MCs is expected to weaken and eventually wash out this morning , the atmosphere this afternoon Kentucky Tennessee will become very vilotale …. Why spc is hinting the tornado risk even greater . Time will tellI’m not a great forecaster, but I’m a bit perplexed about how hard the SPC and various WFOs are hitting the tornado threat. Morning MCS seems likely, discrete development seems uncertain, and storm mode looks very messy. What am I missing? I guess it’s a high ceiling, but very conditional?
Was any damage observed in Washington County, PA (I believe that's the county - might be Beaver)?Damage pics from Fairhaven, WV coming in. Showing homes missing roofs, along with barns and mobile homes totally destroyed.

They have learned that issuing higher probs leads to underperforming systems. If they low ball it we are sure to have a serious outbreak on our hands.I’m not a great forecaster, but I’m a bit perplexed about how hard the SPC and various WFOs are hitting the tornado threat. Yeah. Humidity is high here in Smithville this morning and already feels soupy like you said. It's already really "soupy" here. It was 70 degrees when I got up at 5:30 and walking outside is like walking into a wet blanket.
