Tornado warning could be a guess, tough to see it from a long distance radar. Hopefully it's not down and the warning is just for caution. This even has defiantly over performed.

They were probably confused because yesterday's graphic thumbnail appeared for the first few minutes after the update went out on SPC's site. I saw that, too.

The HRRR and other models wants to put a derecho through the Southeast if I'm seeing this correctly. With so many trees (now fully foliated) that could be devastating.

There is discussion about a MDT area for wind in the latest D1

At this time, too many mesoscale uncertainties remain to
insert an unconditional 45%/MDT wind corridor, but that may need to
be done in a succeeding outlook if convective guidance comes into
better agreement and/or mesoscale trends warrant.
