Bridgeville, Delaware tornado rated EF-3, with 140 mph peak winds.
First F3/EF3 in DE since 1961; I should note that the rating of the 1961 tornado is debatable and considered "minimal F2" by Grazulis. A 1944 F3 produced only F1 damage in Delaware so the Bridgeville tornado is probably the strongest ever recorded in the state.

curious as to how many tors will be confirmed for friday when this is all said & done. doubt it'll touch 100 but could definitely come close.
It is already at 94 per the Wiki page, there's zero doubt in my mind that this goes over 100.

not saying these tornado's deserve an EF5 rating, but is it me or does it seem like that EF5 ratings have gotten way more stringent over the years?
If the Keota tornado swept away any well built homes (which I don't think it did, but the survey is still preliminary) I would call it an EF5 without question. There hasn't been an EF5 since Vilonia; it's probably no coincidence...

Moore. I always get angry when thinking about Vilonia's EF4 rating...
