Discuss the forecast and models here!

Looks like that will just be some heavy rain and gusty winds. The forecast from NWS Norton mentions gusts to 39 while the threshold for a severe thunderstorm is 58 mph or higher. Could certainly see some flooding and possibly some smaller/older trees down.

Regardless of what the forecasted peak gusts are, watch out. I've seen old/unhealthy trees topple over or split in half in gusts less than 50 mph. Every time they took out fences and even a powerline in one case.
