Steve Bannon mocks Joe Scarborough's University of Alabama education

Stumping for embattled Republican Senate Roy Moore Monday night in Midland, Alabama, Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon mocked MSNBC host Joe Scarborough by telling the crowd he went to much better schools - Georgetown and Harvard - than the former Florida Congressman.

The issue? Scarborough is a graduate of the University of Alabama - the largest university in the state his candidate wants to represent in the U.S. Senate. Moore himself attended the school, graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1977.
Frick you Steve Bannon!

This exchange is gold. In her attempt to seem morally superior, Warren basically calls Sen. Gillibrand a slut. Such an inflated sense of self-righteous, she can't avoid tripping over it.

Bombshell story on the Obama admin by Politico. Long story short, his admin undermined an anti-Hezbollah task force to secure the Iran nuclear deal. This is the second story run by Politico exposing the dirty deals done by Obama's admin regarding Iran.

The Drug Enforcement Administration led a complex venture called Project Cassandra to tackle the criminality of the Lebanese militant group from 2008 on.

But it is claimed Obama's people threw down a number of roadblocks, effectively paving the way for Hezbollah's illegal activities including cocaine smuggling into the US which agents believe raked in $1billion for the terror group.

DEA agents claim the Obama administration stopped them arresting key figures linked to Hezbollah as an agreement on the Iran nuclear deal approached - and scrapped Project Cassandra entirely once the terms were agreed in 2015.

David Asher, who helped establish Project Cassandra, told Politico: 'This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision.

'They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.'

He added that the closer Obama for to finalizing the Iran nuclear deal, the more difficult the DEA's job became.

The weapons agreement was announced in January 2016, which coincided with Project Cassandra officials being moved onto other assignments.

After more than a decade of tensions with the West, Tehran signed a landmark deal with world powers to curb its nuclear activity in exchange for the gradual lifting of crippling economic sanctions.

Here's the first:

The Obama administration released seven Iranian-born prisoners as part of the agreement. President Obama described them as "civilians."

But an in-depth investigation by Politico shows some of them were accused by Obama's own Justice Department of posing threats to national security.

Three were allegedly part of an illegal network that supplied Iran with U.S.-made microelectronics that could be used in cruise and surface-to-air missiles.

In addition, one of them conspired to send thousands of U.S.-made assault rifles to Iran. And others were working to get their hands on an airplane for a pro-Hezbollah group.

Politico reports, "The biggest fish, though, was Seyed Abolfazl Shahab Jamili, who had been charged with being part of a conspiracy that from 2005 to 2012 procured thousands of parts with nuclear applications for Iran via China."

Not much talk about the tax bill on here.
Thoughts on the $1,000,000,000,000+ added to deficit?

I don’t know if it is just me, but anything that helps Americans keep more of their hard earned money, I’m all for it. And all indications show that these tax cuts do just that for a good portion of the population.

Sounds like the added deficit is more of a spending than a revenue issue. Politicians love to tax but hate to cut waste. And there is PLENTY in government that needs major reform/downsizing. The biggest contributor to the deficit is entitlements. But Trump said he isn’t touching those...

You seemed to disappear in the Senate race thread. Was that because you weren't "winning"?

I did not vote for Moore. I wrote in a candidate. I just opposed 40 year old accusations( may which have since found to be dubious_) to destroy a man all in the name of political gain

Adding trillions to the debt is winning? You sound like Obama's buddy

If you don't think increased economic activity will more than pay for this it is you, not me that sounds like Obama's boy. Remember, the dems hate "trickle down". Sounds as if you do to.

I used to believe in trickle down but saw that greed usually shuts off the faucet. I'm very skeptical

Like Ghost, I believe in the theory I just don't know if I trust corporate America to do their part. Sure, a few have jumped out in front of this, likely for PR purposes, but lets give it some time. I hope the companies do the right thing.
