As a Skywarn storm spotter (trained under Brian Peters in basic and advanced when he was at the NWS), I appreciate this article!! Thank you!!

I encourage anyone on TW to find out where the classes are located or look into the online classes. All you do is listen and absorb the lesson, no pressure involved!
I also encourage (I wish I'd gotten mine but it's not too late!) getting your Ham radio license because when cells, cable, various internet or any above ground lines are down, the Ham radio stays in operation!!
