This team is showing flashes of being a very solid squad. It just hasn't been able to do it away from Coleman.

Big win today against Oklahoma. Need a few more SEC wins and this team will be in the NCAAT.

Which doesn't bode well because all of our games that count are going to be on neutral courts come March.

Speaking of that, who's bright idea was it to put the SEC tournament in St Louis and not Atlanta or Nashville? St Louis isn't the southeast. I don't care what Mizzou people say.

The Coleman atmosphere was like none other I've seen in years of games. Would be so nice if we could keep that kind of energy...but it requires the team to be consistent.

I find any excuse to go to Atlanta. I've always had a blast there for the SEC Championships and the Natty. Maybe the outcomes were different I'd say otherwise.

It can be hard to judge on the neutral court thing, it is a completely different animal than playing a true road game.

Agreed on the St Louis thing. That's a terrible location for it

Just as bad as the Big Ten tournament being in Washington DC last year.

Atlanta is a nice city for sure. I wouldn't mind working there some day as it's one of the rare metro areas that actually has a decent Met/ATS population.

This is an interesting flight happening just north of Huntsville. Aircraft belongs to Global Data Aviation based out of Georgia. Can't imagine what they are mapping at night.

Mmmm King Cakes are in season at Edgars. Not sure how they'd compare to the tradational New Orleans ones for @Kory but they are my faves
We have an Edgar's here in Tuscaloosa and I absolutely love it. I have not tried their king cake, but I assume its top-notch like their other food. As far as king cakes outside of Louisiana, the best I've found so far was at this place called Mary's Cakes in Historic Northport. It was very close to the original stuff.

I saw Publix's attempt at king cake and they looked absolutely lousy. Wouldn't waste my money on that.

Only thing I can think of is something related to LiDAR which has many applications.

Lolz...what was that turd we laid in Coleman tonight?

We don’t deserve the tourney. We’ll be one and done in embarrassing fashion.

I legitmately pissed somebody off by continuing to question Avery Johnson after the Oklahoma game. Like um.. this is EXACTLY why he does not have my support. Imagine how irate Nick Saban would be if we constantly went 9-3 and 10-2 because we laid an egg after every win over a top 10 team. Avery Johnson seems content doing that.

I'm not sold on Avery, but when you play as many young players as UA currently is, games like tonight can sometimes happen.

That game was ugly as sin, but young teams are often really up and down.

It made it a lot more difficult to get to the NCAAT though, looking across the schedule, 4-5 wins are tough to find on it.

Not sure if anyone is following the Dr. Nassar mess with the gymnasts. He is back in court for some additional impact statements from witnesses. One dad who had THREE of his daughters molested by this monster got a little heated in court today. He asked the judge to allow him to be locked in a room for five minutes with Dr. Nassar. She said no. He asked for one minute. The judge denied that and that is when the dad lunged across the room almost making it to Dr. Nassar before being subdued by officers.

I'm all for the rule of law and judicial process but part of me kinda wishes he would have made it to the Dr. I can't imagine having three kids abused like that and not having the same reaction.

I read some not so favorable reviews of them when I looked it up the other day. Have you had any experience flying with them?

My experience is that they will get you from point A to B in a seat. Now if you want to board early, bring a bag with you, pick out your seat or any other "perk" prepare to pay a little more. My one experience with them was short and if you are cool with all that they are a good cheap choice.

Here is a breakdown of all their optional fees

Basketball is a funny game, especially with a young team. After that egg Bama goes on the road and blows out Florida, loses a close on on the road to MSU, then blows out Tennessee at home. Bama likely only needs 2 more regular season wins to get into the NCAAT, and any additional wins would just increase seeding. With 6 games left, I think this team will probably go 3-3, but they are so up and down it is really tough to predict.

You must be reading my texts to my buddy. I told him yesterday 2 more wins gets Bama in, and they likely finish 3-3. I think they drop one of the 3 home games, possibly Florida though this LSU game coming up is the type of game they like to lose. I also think they win at Kentucky. Even with Kentucky down, there's no bigger place for a college player to play than Rupp Arena. That is the type of game this team gets fired up to play.
