yes, especially tonight's 0z run is concerning to me. Southwest flow aloftg while the artic boundry sinks southward with possibly some ripples of energy stream through it. this could create a light freezing rain scenario, maybe even drizzle, the worst kind. Also, it may be underplaying the precip on the north side of the front, as far as coverage.
Josh Johnson, Chief Met at WSFA in Montgomery went with this graphic in his Tuesday night, 10 pm weathercast for lower Central Alabama.
He did say things would likely change before Day 1.
So while nothing really came of this event for most on this forum, this is going to be a big deal for the eastern parts of the Carolinas. Freezing rain/sleet/snow, with major ice accumulations expected near the coast, with a few inches of snow more inland.
