I didnt know this. Looks like its startng to develop a more defined hook as we speak.

I just checked it is 72 miles as the crow flies from the Dawson County line to the NE corner of GA. It literally tracked along the spine.

Hey, someone with a GR product let me know what the GTG is on the storm about to enter western Harris County, GA. Use either the MXX or FFC radars.

New storm just south of Ball Ground showing rotation.

Yep...Tornado warning now out for Dawson county just to my South West. Lightning is really picking up here in Dahlonega.

This one headed for me and you. Still showing good rotation and a visible inflow notch. Maybe trying to hook. Can't tell with all the crap around it.

Jackson CWA
4 in Clarke County (Snell)

Rotation just tightened up about 12 miles due south of the FFC radar, headed roughly my direction, but at least an hour out. TOR issued with it.
That's cell Y5 G2G is about 98kts right now.

My family in Pleasant Grove (west of B'ham) is ok and managed to avoid both injury and damage.

From what my dad is telling me, however, we are going to be absolutely shocked at the pictures coming out of there tomorrow. He said that this damage is even more extensive than the 4/8/98 storm.

We need to pray for all the families and rescuers out there. Horrible, horrible stories coming out of there.
