I was flipping through the channels and saw this on the weather from Univision (one of the major spanish-language cable networks):

Jackie Guerrido and a little more Jackie Guerrido

Google's humorous attempt to translate her official page at Univision

Naturally it was just the uniqueness of seeing the weather done in spanish which caused me to gape open-mouthed at the tv. icon_wink.gif Can we get her to do wall-to-wall severe weather coverage here locally? icon_mrgreen.gif

Yes, I've seen Jackie's broadcasts on Univision quite often....she's a very lovely young woman. The weather broadcasts on Univision are very interesting, especially during hurricane season...with great satellite imagery and very detailed information, both on Atlantic and Eastern Pacific tropical cyclones.

I've seen it before. It is umm... different.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

Thanks. I didn't even realize I was at 1,000 posts when I posted that.

I probably would've made it something more memorable. Then again, she's worthy of a lot of things I suppose. icon_cool.gif

Re-reading that translated page still cracks me up. I think I've found a new source of entertainment.

This is why a guy should never let a woman pick out a diamond. . . .they always think the bigger the better. . . .unless it is a sweater, then the smaller the better.
