Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Zambretti Forecaster?
I know they are available in the UK, but, I can't find any source this
side of the Atlantic.

For the curious, in 1915 Zambra and Negretti, of London, “Opticians and Instrument Makers to the Queen” and publishers of “A Treatise on Meteorological Instruments", created the Zambretti Forecaster. It is said to have been successfully tested by NATO forces during exercises in the Scottish Highlands and Arctic.

Supposedly it boasts a 91% accuracy rating.

To use you would observe direction of wind. Read barometer and note whether rising falling or steady. Set dials accordingly and the forecast appears where indicated.

It reminds me of the Sager Weathercaster series, but, is unrelated.
