Per his Facebook, he's no longer at Fox 6. Anyone know any details? He's only been there what, a few months?

Isn't he a member on this site? Maybe he will chime in and give us some incite, as much as he can give. I haven't really followed him being up here in middle TN, but from what I hear he is a very talented OCM...

Jason is no longer with the station. From reading his FB post....you can tell he obviously had some tough decisions to make. Jason is a very talented meteorologist and great guy. I enjoyed working with him in the time he was at the station. Will be praying for him.

Wow. He wasn't there long. Too bad. I really liked him. I wonder if they'll bring back Sara Sanders.

Hate to say it...and as much as I like the idea...but it will probably never survive...because it probably gets nowhere other then DISH network. DirecTV and certainly most cable systems (Comcast especially) will never consider adding competition to TWC...much less actually replacing it.

Don't be so sure...
Well don't get me wrong...I hope it succeeds...but I just see it turning into another WeatherPlus in the end...the general public for the most part doesn't care what TWC is showing...as long as they can get the local weather...Friday Night Movies are not a problem for them.

That's true. Lots of things to be ironed out.....but I know that alot more good things are coming. I wish we could get it on DirecTV. :(

Hopefully good things will happen. Let's see if they can steal Cantore and Forbes ;) ... in all seriousness...getting some good current or even former TWC talent is probably the best thing they can do to get any attraction with other carriers...

From what I've read about WeatherCast, it indeed reminds me the late WeatherPlus, which eventually went belly up after NBC purchased the TWC. People want circus and bread.
