While not all areas have had epic snows (like Dallas yesterday), most areas have seen average to above average snow this winter. Some areas from Dallas to Memphis, to Raleigh have seen several winter storms. With places like Jackson getting some really good snow today I was wondering how much everyone has seen? I know the current storm wasn't as "epic" as some anticipated in AL/GA, but it was still a really good event for the southern part of those states.

I've picked up nearly 9 inches this winter from 3 separate events. With the next clipper and a cool outlook, maybe I could hit 10 for the winter. We had just under 6 inches on Monday, about 3 inches of ice and snow a couple of weeks ago, and about 3/4 of an inch in early January.

Got about 0.5" this winter here in NW AL. It did Snow heavy in Florence,AL northward into TN, but I got nothing from that being a little south of it. Then today it snowed heavy in Birmingham. south, but we got nothing, not even a single flake. So we're in a no snow hole.

About 7" here...give or take a half inch. Average is about 5.5 or a little higher...so we'll finish above that.

Total of 6.2". Normal for Nashville is around 10".  The southern 3/4ths of middle TN and much of northern AL remain below normal.

Adding up what little bit accumulated here on January 7th, and my 2.4" today.... 2.9". I'm happy with that. Today was my biggest snow, seen with my own eyes in my front yard, since March 1993.

I suppose officially today our total will be 4.5" since that's what's on the NWS page for Barbour County. Guess they rounded up my 4 3/8" average that I reported. So, that said, that brings my total to........ 4.5" haha

I had 5" with this event just east of Jackson, MS. I think I had an inch with the event on December 4th. So I guess I've had 6" total for the winter (although I might be rounding a couple tenths). Yesterday's snow has been the most where I lived since the late 90s when I was in Norman, OK. Jackson has averaged under an inch per year for the past 40 years...so I'll take it!

12.5"-13.5". And if we get the forecasted 2-4", then add to those totals. A very good winter here and we have used all of our 12 snow days for the first time in a very long time...

12 snow days!? You would think if that they would have better removal equipment if they need that many snow days  I think we get 2 built in here, so far we've used both.
