After a brief flirtation early next week with avg to slightly above avg temps... back into the deep freeze for the mid-South next Wed-Mon.    icon_evil.gif   I'm ready for the 60's and 70's.... who's with me on this?

As you go through life reaching for the top...

1. Your best friends will disappoint you.
2. Three or four things will happen on a daily basis you wished you could go back and change.
3. It gets lonely.
4. If you can't handle 1 and 3, get another job.

...carry on

Warm doesn't fit your username very well. icon_wink.gif

Even though I've gone yet another winter (to this point, anyway) without even a trace of wintry precip, I'm ready for spring. I like to work outside in the yard on weekends, and prefer it warm enough not to wear a coat. That, and I have a lot of painting to do, and it pretty much needs to be 60 or higher for that project.

I'm so sick of being cold. I sat in a sauna for 15 minutes the other day. 206F. Now that was nice!  cloud9.gif

206F?!?! I've had steaks that weren't that hot. icon_wink.gif

Today would have been nice had it not been so breezy.

I had some thunder and lightning on 1/7/07.  I had both on 9/18/06 and 9/24/06 before that, but the best lightning show was 8/21/06.  There was CG and flash lightning for hours!

I'm still waiting for it to get cold.

I want one of those weeks from my childhood when the high temps don't break freezing for over a week and the lows are near zero. That is bug killing cold.

No doubt! I had wasps come out yesterday - which didn't please me at all. Have we had enough below freezing weather for the peach trees? I seem to recall they need a certain amount of time below freezing to do well.

well,it's sliding off to the east,I think this is it's last hurrah.Middle of next week should be much warmer. We'll still have cold fronts but it won't last for a long time before warming up,the cold will move on out and not stay in place.

I absolutely HATE days like today...I've seriously got to hit the lottery and move to South Florida...by the way I did send an email to A.J. Smith of the San Diego Chargers letting him know that I'd be more than happy to help his new head coach fill out his staff....right now it is 62 degrees there   icon_evil.gif
