Went ahead and made a new post for this - this can be used as reference during severe weather events, tropical events, or anything weather (even otherwise) and can be bumped, maybe pinned, when an important event is in progress. This list is compiled from stations that actively promote live  streaming, or where I've personally seen a live stream of something,  usually weather related, on their site before. If anyone has a direct link to any of these streams you don't see here already, or a link to a station I don't have, feel free to add it.

I would recommend that the mods pin this thread from here on out somewhere on the board. Valuable information and will save us time trying to find each time they're needed, JMO.Thanks Kevin for rounding these up!
As you go through life reaching for the top...

1. Your best friends will disappoint you.
2. Three or four things will happen on a daily basis you wished you could go back and change.
3. It gets lonely.

Just wanted to bump this with severe threat coming tonight and especially tomorrow in the above cities. Will be looking out for Louisiana stations as well that may be streaming tornado coverage later this evening where the action is first likely to start. If I find any, I'll add them here, and again, if anyone else has a link to add, please do!

Also, don't forget to tune into the WBRC link above at 8 PM for their weather special. And, apparently ABC 33/40 is doing a special at the same time. So take your pick (or watch them both!) icon_biggrin.gif

WMC in Memphis is streaming right now for a local Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Don't know of any other live TV coverage streaming in the region at this time.

Well....looks like that plan has been crapped. We've had to scrap the idea of rolling with the ghetto severe weather coverage today. Too many internet connection problems.....maybe next time.

Users in the Montgomery TV market (or simply those interested in the coverage) can download the WSFA (NBC 12) Weather Window (http://www.wsfa.com/...71&nav=menu33_4) which not only allows users to sign up for watch/warning e-mails, but streams the NBC Weather Plus feed of that station.

We will be streaming at klfy.com if tornado warnings start popping up for our parishes. That is the Lafayette, LA area.

You can add that to the list kevin...wtva.com

That's too bad. I hope your network gets it soon. When the news stations here were streaming on Feb. 5th, someone is Maryland was watching News 2 to check and see if his daughter who lived in Nashville was ok. He said it was the best coverage he had seen and felt his daughter was in good care with the news stations here.

That's the same with us actually.  We usually get dozens of e-mails from other states (and other countries). People love knowing what's going on where there friends and family are.  A lot of people have property in one place and live in another and are concerned about the weather for that cause.  Either way, I love the fact that so many stations are streaming now.  I think it's going above and beyond in doing a great public service.

The fact is, EVERYONE cares about weather...at least to a certain degree.  Obviously most not as much as us, but still, people want to know what's happening, especially during severe weather.

Apologize for the lack of updates on this...I guess since I'm usually not around much these days during big events I've forgotten about keeping this fresh! I've added the ones mentioned here and fixed what seemed to be not working. Also added the livenewscameras site at the bottom. Anything else to add feel free to post the info and I'll try to add it to the main post as quick as possible.

We will stream live weather for all Tornado Warnings and tropical coverage at www.live5news.com or www.wcsc.com

It takes a few minutes for the page to update once the feeds start.

We are the only one in the market as far as I know that stream.
