Winds up to almost 70 mph in an offshore storm in the Cantabrian Sea stirred up giant waves this week along the coast in Spain's Basque Country:



A road in San Sebastian that's most exposed to the sea was closed.  Thousands of people checked it out and some of them got contusions for their curiosity.  No serious injuries or fatalities, though.
